Dope Stars Inc. are an Industrial Rock’n’Roll band from Rome, Italy, born in may 2003.
Mixing industrial beats, acid synths and distorted sounds with a bratty rock’n’roll attitude Dope Stars Inc. catched the interest of the international press already with their debut self-produced EP “10.000 Watts Of Artificial Pleasures”. Straight after the band released two albums,“Neuromance” (2005) and “Gigahearts” (2006), infecting through the years an horde of loyal fans and spreading like a virus over communities and golobal networks. Songs of Dope Stars Inc. also appeared 3 times on the soundtrack albums of the horror movie saga of "Saw".
The band toured intensively between 2005 and 2008 performing on stages across all Europe and supporting bands like London After Midnight, ASP, Apoptygma Berzerk, Nightwish, Combichrist, Kirlian Camera. The band also performed at the biggest European festivals like Mera Luna, Wave Gotik Treffen, Amphi Festival, Summer Darkness, On A Dark Winter Night, Infest UK and Trash Fest Finland.
The new album "21st Century Slave" is out now and will be followed by a tour in October.
