  I met Doris Day when I was ten years old. My dad and I were at Farmers Market in LA and she came up to me, and told my dad how cute I was. He of course, said something like " oh yea, you can have her" and that is just what she did. She took me with her, and left him sitting on a bench smoking a cigar. We make our way around the food stands, and she bought fruit, asked me all kind of questions and then returned me. Years later, my dad told me she was trying to pick him up, and I laughed my ass... She was taken by a little girl with her smokin pop. That was around 62 at the height of her career and mine. She was and is amazing.

  i just love doris day , all her movies are fab but my favs are pillow talk and calamity jane . pity they dont make movies like that anymore
