Doug Irving is a singer/songwriter who spent eight years in Nashville but recently moved back to upstate New York. He writes and performs both country and pop/rock material. He has had a number of songs recorded by regional/independent artists. His country-flavored "Half-Plugged" and pop/AOR "Generations" CD's are available on CD Baby. His song "16 Bars" as recorded by Rick Sousley is a Texas dancehall standard two-stepper. He records with such great guest performers as Shelly Rann,Sheron Wilee, Heather Lawson and Mak Kaylor. His new CD "Northern Lights" will be released this summer ('06).
