  Earl Klugh was the first dude I heard after my mom got wind that I didn't like playing AC/DC but liked jazz after playing with a super B-3 organ player and his son and my friend, Dave Farris. After I got hooked on melodies and those maj 7, flat 9, etc.. that was it for noise and "Magic In Your Eyes" was given to me for Christmas in 1982. Since then, I've got every CD Earl has put out. He is a genius with his signature melodic lines and finger picking style. His music has brought me much joy over the years and through tough times when away in the military. Chet Atkins in 96 after concert in Lexington stated to me that Earl is..."the best guitar player in the world..." I was determined to get backstage and I won't go into the details of how insidious I was in doing so! I think Chet was right in many ways. You know as soon as you hear the happy melody or soulful classical strings that it must be Earl. I thank God that He gave Earl Klugh the gift and the courage to get out and share it with the world. "Pretty World" is a great tune by the way. I'm going to meet Mr. Klugh. It is part of my "Journey" ..... Play on brother, Brian Jett & Hangtough (for the Cure @ LLS.ORG)

  I'm happy to say, I already downloaded his DANCE WITH ME...then sent it to my Facebook friends, and to no surpise he shows up a week later about a new album? Now why can't the young population play this out loud when they cruise downtown on Friday night? All hail to you, Earl..

  Saw him perform in intimate setting at Blues Alley in Washington DC and it was perfect. He was great, played to the crowd including crowd favorites and we got to talk to him and take photos with him after, as well as autographed CDs. Don't like his new songs as much as the old ones but the man is beautiful at playing the guitar and setting the mood. Love him. Would see him again any day.

  A Genius with the magic touch on the acoustic guitar,simply magic,this guy takes me to places undescribable and his music is a soul uplifter!!! EARL YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
