    Influenced me greatly with his Cello compositions. So much so that I instantly think of Cello Concerto in E minor (Movement 1) whenever i hear a good Cello piece.

    Whenever i hear the sound of cello, i think of Elgar's compositions. That's how he impressed me.

    As I grew up in Worcester, I always had Elgar's music forced at me constantly and grew so bored of it. Listening anew, some 20-odd years later, I find so much to enjoy.
