Elodie was born Elissa Bjorck in Stockholm, Sweden, and moved to the United States with her family at thirteen. The attractive music scene and impressive long list of internationally successful Swedish musicians brought her back to Sweden in June, 2007, after having graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music. But the 'Real World' began for Elodie already during her last year in college. She started writing music with successful producer John Dahlbäck, with whom she has relesed several singles to date, including the popular tech-house track 'Blink' that has gotten worldwide attention from such high profile dj:s as Tiesto, Eric Prydz, Armin Van Buuren, etc. She has also been working on music with DPP, Stian Klo and the Delta Rock duo Duo, and more exciting collaborations to come. In addition to collaborating with producers on various dance music projects, Elodie is currently working on her first solo album, 'Elodic', which is an upbeat and innovative techno-pop album in the making. The innovative Scandinavian pop scene has had a lasting influence on her music, though by no means is her music limited to Swedish pop. In fact, Elodie's songwriting runs the gamut from pop to electro-house, d&b, trance, trip-hop, and even stripped down singer/songwriter piano balladry.
