"...Andy & Vince play The Ritz. They go down a storm. Millions of young people jump up & down to the songs, and two lone punks attempt to jump over each other." - NYC Gig Review - NME (1986)
"Truth be told, Erasure are the band St Etienne, Pulp, and the rest of our indie kitsch-merchants would like to be if only they had the money." - NME (1992)
"By the time Andy comes slamming in with that "We'll be together again" at the start of 'Stop', if you aren't screaming along, you have no soul and I despair of you. ...this is classic pop." - Gig Review - Melody Maker (1996)
"Let's face it — there is nothing Kraftwerk did that Erasure didn't do better, for longer, and while wearing a blue sequinned cowboy hat and chaps." - Caitlin Moran - The Times (June 2005)
