  Fantastic Planet is that one album I would hope I had on me if I were stuck on a deserted island. Hard to believe it's been about 13 years since it dropped (my friends and I copped an advanced copy about a year before it came out!) and it just seems to sound better every time. How they didn't turn into the most relevant alternative act of the day back then I will never know. Slash Records was never exactly known for their marketing but, oh well. No question this band is my all time fave.
