With the sound of 'Ashley' still ringing in clubbers ears around the globe the stateside duo of Filo & Peri are ready to hit you with another round of audio ammunition taken from their debut mixed artist LP 'Night Play'. The New York production team of Filo & Peri have raised the bar with their latest album and with a backdrop like New York for inspiration they have produced their best work to date. The new single 'Soul and The Sun' enlists the help of long time friend Eric Lumiere, who is no stranger to Filo & Peri. He produced the vocals for the emphatic 'Anthem' that set dance floors alight all over the world and introduced us all to his very talented vocal delivery. His latest vocal harmonics are a joy to the ear with a passionately deep mood that soon sparks into an epic uplifting production that Filo & Peri have fast become the master of.
They have had the addition of the skills of Giuseppe Ottaviani who raises the temperature up a notch with his energetic remix. Bubbling with a classic string the Italian has been pleasuring ears for years with, it's yet again another masterpiece from the artist who recently brought us his debut LP 'GO!' If anyone can make a record go with a bang it is Mr Ottavinai.
Taking you on a different trip altogether is the progressive beats of Jerome Isma-ae. Managing to mix together the core elements of the original but creating a dark atmosphere that breaks up with gorgeous harmonics and the epic vocal from Eric Lumiere. It's deep and delicious with those looking for a darker mood you'll find it in here!
'Soul and The Sun' has all the makings of yet another global success for Filo & Peri who proved with their debut album that they are on the top of their game with their production skills.
