Fire by Night is a band whose sound defies the labels that are commonly placed on grassroots operations such as theirs. It is their unassuming, accessible music coupled with the band's drive, confidence, and consummate musicianship that has propelled them to popularity on the East Coast College scene and, soon, the rest of the U.S. as well. The band's current line-up was formed in February 2005 and they are currently working hard in the studio to release their first full-length CD, "Time Out of Mind", which is already garnering rave reviews from critics who have heard the preliminary cuts.
