  Derek, with all due respect, you know not what you are talking about when you say Francis has made bad choices in his career. I can appreciate the fact that you like I.B. but Let it Go!! And if/when FD is ever aweful, the audience is at least partly culpable. That's what makes FD different, he doesn't show up, play & leave. The atmosphere is important ... the collective vibe. Keep doing what your doing Francis!!

  Have just seen him live in my friends front room, he was amazing. Love all his songs, 'Only new York Going On' and 'Yonder Mountain' are my favourites!! He played his tall blonde helicopter album + talked through reasons for writting each song, what he said was very profound and made a lot of sense, he is very philosophical. The best night ever!!

  Just saw him in early November in Philadelphia -- doing a retrospective on the Tall Blonde Helicopter album... was a great show! Francis is a fantastic guitarist, and a great songwriter...

  Frank Dunnery was great when he first left It Bites but I think he's sold himself short of late. Plus, the last gig I was at he was awful. Then he missed the chance to get back with I.B. He's a superb guitarist but I feel he's made some real bad choices in his career.

  I've seen him live a couple of times, and he is amazing. May be the best guitarist around!

  My favourite FD song is .......there are so many.......Only New York Going On is one of my most played, as well as My Own Reality!! I think my favourite is Too Much Saturn! I'm looking forward to seeing him live ...... it's been a long time!
