G-Soul was born and raised in Korea and started singing gospel music when he was 8 years old. He came to the States 2 years ago to take his music to the next level and work with the King of R&B R. Kelly. He has been influenced by old-school soul and R&B artists like Donny Hathaway, Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Wonder.
