It would have slightly creaky wooden floors and a treacherous narrow staircase that would lead you from the new titles and periodicals downstairs to the almost clostrophobic floor-to-ceiling stacks upstairs. And near the poetry section, there would be the biggest, softest, most amazing, stuffed chair (large enough for two, ideally) where you could lose yourself in Tennyson or Keats. But I also smile when I think that I could saturate the shop with dream-inducing sounds like this old favorite by Fauré. "
