Formed 1995 and played irregular low key gigs in Christchurch, New Zealand. 3 band members alternate vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, drums. Sometimes we use sampled percussion or no percussion at all. Currently in hibernation.
The albums are "Gas" "Pop" "Zauberberg" and "Kogniforst" and Nuh Und Fern, which is the box set of the 4 albums. also note there is a difference between GAS and G.A.S. Wolfgang Voigt does not abbreviate this alias
Just trying to inform others who stumble on this page
Gas is Wolfgang Voigt and also goes under the aliases of M:I:5, Mike Ink, Love Inc, and Studio 1
He's done work on the Mille Plateuax and Kompakt record labels.
With the exception of his Kogniforst album, all tracks on the CD are untitled.

"Other popular songs" section on this page is correct as all the songs are Gas (Wolfgang Voigt). The "Featured Songs" may be Gas under one of his aliases
Why not have Matt Jarvis as the main artist for his Gas and High Skies monikers??

Exactly, I was going to say the same thing.. there are two bands with the same name... One is electronic, sort of blip hop, click hop, ambient[ I think it's the one with Wolfgang Voigt. And the other one... honestly don't know...
The first one has an album called Zauberberg, that's what I was looking for. The band currently on tour has nothing to do with Zauberberg's Gas. There must be a way to distinguish them.
