    My absolute favorite song from Carmen is the beginning of Act Two when the gypsies dance. That song is so vibrant and exciting. Amazing. The entire opera is a masterpiece.

    How can I pick a favorite from Carmen? I like the one with the girls playing cards... but I think I like the duet in the first act from The Pearl Fishers best of all. And that's not one of our choices. Then again, it's Bizet. We can't go wrong shutting our eyes and pointing.
