I just saw him here in Philly last month at the Tin angel and the show was great I've seen him a few times here and each time I fall madly in love with this man his music the words are so profound but his appearance was another thing I see sadness in his eyes maybe from the drugs or what he has done to himself from the first time I saw him in the 70's until now he is my man good or bad hang in there baby

    Gil Scott-Heron will release his first new studio album since 1994 next year. The political poet and singer will release 'I'm New Here' in early 2010, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
