  Ah, yes, Gill....I have such fond memories of the crush I had on this brotha in my high school dayz and of college too. He is truly an artist with a gift who got bogged down in the terrible destruction of drugs. Recently read an article sent to me by an associate that they'd seen him perform in NYC. Alas, they were expecting the old Gill and to their surprise, he is slowly dwindling away. It was quoted that his appearance was that of a frail 70 yr old man. Quite unsteady on his feet and ...   He was a legend and recently i wrote a tribute to him in my english class. I got kind of heated when people didn't know exactly who he was but i schooled em. I hope no one ever forgets who this man is.
