Jul 22, 11:50 AMBarclaycard Mercury prize nominationGlasvegas have been honored with a Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2009 'An Album of the Year' nomination - a prestigious chart celebrating the best albums of the year gone, including both charting artists and those lesser known.
The winner will be decided by a panel of critics music industry figures and announced on September 8th.
The band are up against Florence & The Machine, Kasabian, Bat For Lashes, La Roux, Speech Debelle, Friendly Fires, The Horrors, Lisa Hannigan, The Invisible, Led Bib and Sweet Billy Pilgrim.
