  Please Greg, please come back to Georgia. I saw you in concert in Atlanta a few years ago at the Variety Playhouse. I have many, many of your albums. You do have fans in the southeast. I would suggest Swallow at the Hollow in Roswell, Georgia. They have great ribs too. Please check it out. But really, anywhere in Georgia would do. I am from Upper Michigan and have family in Wyoming. We need your music in Georgia. Thanks for the chance to write to you. Mary Thibault Heine

  Have been a fan since 99. Have seen Greg live twice. Wish he c/would come to Europe. They would love him here! Thanks anyway for the very meaningful music.

  I was first introduced to Greg's music at Strawberry Music Festival at Camp Mather, CA and went out and bought Down in There and was hooked. His music has been a huge part of my life's soundtrack, thanks so much for making it such a great soundtrack to live to everyday.

  There’s something about a man with a voice & a guitar. My dad plays guitar by ear & when he hears something he likes he usually tries to learn to play it. I think he may have first heard Greg Brown on National Public Radio - possibly on the Prairie Home Companion Show. When Greg played in small, out-of-the-way places like the old general store in Stone City, Iowa, my parents toted me along. I remember seeing him & Suzy Bogguss play their tunes in said general store with a few candle-lit coc... More... There’s something about a man with a voice & a guitar. I remember seeing him & Suzy Bogguss play their tunes in said general store with a few candle-lit cocktail tables situated here & there across a creaky, well-traveled wooden plank floor. I rode along in the car with my dad to Greg Brown's house in Iowa City, Iowa when I was maybe 10 or so years old to drop off a personal letter. My dad found a real connection to his music, the instrument he chose to play it with, & the inspiration behind it at the time & wanted to let him know. That was a long, long time ago. I’m in my 30s now. I like some of Greg’s new music & I still sing those old songs with my dad. Just my little post.

  I couldn't quite understand what the fuss was all about when my friend sat me down and told me I had to watch and listen to the artist that was opening for another friend,, that night the opener came onstage, I looked at my friend, asked "Who the he**??" and didn't say another word "till he was finished. Slant 6 Mind is my in-flight, eyes closed, 7hr travelouge. Thanks GB for getting me across the continent stress-free.

  I discovered Greg Brown several years ago, but I still wish I'd found him sooner. His stuff keeps me in the right state of mind!! I love his rugged down-to-earth way, and that voice...mm mm mm.

  Greg Brown has literally changed my life, I wish he'd play New York more often.
