Hey iLike people. Greg Vail has a new hair cut.
No the English language lacks a lot of logic and consistency as we all know. If you look at the term "hair cut" it implies a bunch of hairs but really only discuses one. So, to be completely clear, I got a bunch of hairs cut this time. The exact number wold be hard to count, but the percentage was 100% of my hairs got cut.
The other thing to note is, I had really long hair and the hairs cut are now showing much shorter hair.
I have included a picture for proof.
Since I am on the topic of hair. When your hair starts getting long, people ask if you are growing it out. I always respond that I have been growing hair for 45 years now. You see, the act of growing your hair out is an act of doing nothing. It is an act of omission. You stop trimming your hair to get long hair. You don’t “do anything.” You stop doing something.
Since I’m on the topic of being to literal, another good example of something we all understand but that makes no sense when you think about it – My music pastor at Church always says, “Let’s put our hands together.” I have always wanted to tell the 3200 people in the room to just do it once. Then he would have to say what he meant which is, “Hey everybody, let’s put our hands together repeatedly.”
Some call me a smart a** but that’s OK. I know the language and can understand what they are trying to say.

Just a note to say I think iLike is pretty cool. I already have 5 new fans in just a few days and love being able to dedicate songs to people and see what music tastes they have too!
I hope you like iLike, and really hope you like my music and share it with friends.
