Griffin-X is an instrumental hard-rock band formed by Jim Griffin, guitarist of Texas based metal band Something Shiva. It highlights his interest in creating tight, groove orientated guitar music with lots of melodic solo work. Jim has been playing guitar for over 20 years and has jammed with such bands as Battery Park, Synjynce, Something Shiva, Face-First, Dorian Gray, Dakine and Anicrusix. All guitar, bass, synth and drum parts are written by Jim and later mixed and mastered at the Griffin Productions studio.
