There’s an old saying, “Everyone wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to die.” Well, this album focuses on Heaven and eternity. The Bible promises eternal life through Jesus, the Son of God (John 3:16). Many have heard this since early Sunday School and other institutions of the Christian faith; many have not. Though there are atheists and people of different beliefs and philosophies, eternity is something every living person faces. Much of this music draws attention to eternity which far outweighs the temporal or the here and now. I try to depict Heaven with my own very limited understanding in such songs as “Love Theme” and “Heavenbound”. I also make references to my early years as in “Tommy Walker” when I was a child of a broken home, and to my nieces lullaby when I was a young man. “Snow Dance” refers to my Finnish “roots”. Parts of Northern Finland, of course, are snow covered and the music is a Finn-like folk theme. I’m deeply indebted to the brilliant musicians who performed and arranged my music; especially Michael Quatro, the featured artist. I would also mention Gary Schunk, another keyboard genius. Lee Noble, another composer, was an invaluable help in my writing. Of course, I’m also grateful for the work of the vocalists. Above all, I thank the Lord for the music and words. I have been richly blessed. Reino W. Wantin Special thanks to George Currier for his assistance Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church
