Heidi had been songwriting for a number of years, and in 2004 one of those songs, Welcome Home, caught the attention of Producer John Ross in Oregon. The song drove him to turn the single into an album and as Heidi returned to the state of Minnesota, where she grew up, she began to organize a band to help deliver her passion. Heidi began to gain local popularity through the nationally acclaimed band tournament at Club 3 degrees, in Minneapolis, by making it to the finals her first 2 years in the tournament. Since then she has gone on to play at major festivals, including Sonshine, Higher Ground, and Lifelight sharing the stage with Ginny Owens, Sara Groves, Mercy Me, Tree 63, Rebecca St. James, and Michael W. Smith. Word spread of her gift to also lead worship which is when she started leading at many Twin Cities colleges, and churches small to large across the country. She has also included stops at many national conferences to share her heart for ministry and worship leading. The buzz that Heidi was creating caught the attention of Speed of Sound Records, which signed her in 2006 and released “The Live Record” in July of that year. Heidi is currently working on her 2nd full length release, due spring 2007. At the release of the forthcoming album, she will go on tour in support of the new album. Watch for her in your city!!!
