  I was practically raised on Henry Mancini's music, since my folks used to play his LPs constantly. I'm still a fan and love listening to CDs of Peter Gunn, Mr. Lucky, and The Mancini Touch.

  I know that Lemonjelly used Henry Mancini's Evergreen in His Majesty King Raam but about 5 minutes in to the track there is a typical Mancini string piece that is not on Evergreen, anyone know what it is?

  Henry Mancini is timeless. His music made such great soundtracks and so much of it still sounds contemporary even though it's half a century old.

  Excellent work in the Columbo tv series. All of that music complimented the mise-en-scene.
