To me, this music is an embodyment of man's fear of the unknown, and his hope that a life well led will be rewarded.
You've probably heard this in the air jordan xx2 ad where the guy comes out of the shadows and steals the ball to make a buzzerbeater to win agains the home team. When you think about it, that scene wouldn't have been anywhere NEAR the emotional level if you used any other music... Think about that next time you watch the commercial. Then think about how long this music's been around..."
