  saw him back in the day at the chestnut cabaret in phildelphia. i met him out side the club, we were talking to him.Iggy then yells" who don't have a ticket", about ten guys said they didnt. he opened the side door told them to come in. the bouncer said no way. iggy in his mono tone voice told the bouncer then " i'm not playing" , the manager heard this panicked and let those ten in for free.Iggy smiled walked in and put on one of the best shows i ever saw

  It's true, the photo here is from the 1st LP, before the band was called Iggy and the Stooges, but simply The Stooges. Nevertheless, Michigan rock is the best there is: the most influential, the most lasting, the most exciting. Stooges, MC5, Third Power, etc.
