During the past 3 years Infernal have been creating hit by hit and succes by succes and have claimed their position at the top of the international pop-scene. The buzz started in 2006 when Infernal placed Danish pop music back on the International map. Their major hit ”From Paris to Berlin”, has conquered tremendously high positions all over the world. Including 7 weeks in the UK top 5 peaking at #2. It remained in the top 20 for 13 weeks, going on to become the third biggest selling single in the UK in 2006. Infernal have by now sold over a million singles worldwide and are without comparison Denmark’s no. 1 pop band abroad. They have been signed in 35 countries and the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland and Australia are just some of the territories, that have released Infernal. The album “From Paris To Berlin” archived double platinum status in Denmark in 2007 and Infernal have been touring extensively – both in Denmark and the rest of Europe. Right now Infernal are back in the studio preparing their next album, which is set to be released August 11th 2008. On this album Infernal will continue their danceable pop streak and will prove that they belong on the top of the pops. Lina Rafn and Paw Lagermann both from Copenhagen, Denmark, forms Infernal. Lina and Paw met through mutual friends in 1991 and were both quick to discover that they had the same passion: dance music. They soon realised they were a perfect musical match and shared the same ambition. In the beginning of 1997 Infernal was a reality. They quickly conquered the Scandinavian charts gaining numerous gold and platinum sales awards before turning their attention to the rest of the world. Like the Vengaboys, 2Unlimited and Aqua before them, Infernal have become masters of their art and are taking a growing legion of fans with them in their relentless march to the top of the charts. In excess to their own music, Infernal, also writes and produces music, for among others, Bent Fabric, whose massive sales success “Jukebox” has done extremely well in the United States and Japan, where Jukebox has peeked as # 3 on the Japanese album sales chart. Infernal proves repeatedly that they are a world class act; delivering effervescent pop dance-floor fillers, with hooks so strong, once they burst into the top of the charts, nothing’s going to remove them from there!
