They played around in other local bands until fate and the right timing of breakups and hardships finally brought them together to create something special they collectively agree have never felt in prior situations. This chemistry makes for a dynamic that pushes and pulls yet gels with an uncertain ease. From Orange County, CA the band has been described in reviews as everything from a Rock & Roll Nirvana to Cheap Trick on steroids. Its Revenge’s musical influences range from old school punk like Flux of Pink Indians and GBH to good old rock n roll with the likes of Queen, The Cars and even old Van Halen. The one common denominator all people have agreed on is a tight, driving rhythm section, two lead guitars that compliment each other in both tone and composition that compliment melodic, powerful vocals full of emotion and backed with tight harmonies all done live. Winning over new fans with hard work has been the main focus as of late. Touring up and down Southern California is broadening the fan base while playing successful self-promoted local shows at the House of Blues, Viper Room and the Key Club. Word of mouth is also spreading at constant clip through CD and show reviews. Recently the band has landed a spot with major Los Angeles radio (Indie 103.1 FM) airplay. With the mixing help of Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones) at Mudrock’s studio, Its Revenge has a CD that’s sonically ready. The self-produced CD “Rock and Roll Retribution” has just been added to the chain of Tower Records and was voted “Top Ten Best of the Best in 2005” by the Orange County Register. The intention was to create smartly crafted songs that always aim for a contagious melody and give true emotion. This is a product of all band dynamics: fighting, drinking, eating, smoking and sleeping until a universal goal was achieved: unity.
