Jake Berry is a poet, songwriter and visual artist. His work has been widely published in books, journals and anthologies for more than two decades. Recent books include Brambu Drezi (Barrytown/Station Hill, 2006) and The Blood Paradoxes/War Poems (xPressEd, 2006). In 1997 he founded Front Porch Recordings with the poet Amy Trussell. His solo CDs include Shadow Resolve, Roses On The Threshold, and Strange Parlors. He co-founded the contemporary folk group Bare Knuckles with Wayne Sides in 1999. He also performs with the ambient group Ascension Brothers and records with composer Jukka-Pekka Kervinen under the name Catachthonia.
