It was almost three years ago that I began self-producing and recording songs in my freshman dorm room. All I had back then was a whack Dell laptop and a ten-dollar microphone from Radio Shack. Since then I've come a long way. A really long way, if you compare those primitive attempts at finding my sound to today's sharper semi-pro DIY demos. Still keeping things in perspective, all I've really done on the exterior is buy a more expensive computer (my beloved Macbook) and a decent studio mic. The most significant changes have come from within.
