  You really miss his scores in films these days. The Alien, Rambo, Star Trek and summer blockbusters all carry on and they don't feel the same. Jerry Goldsmith is very much missed. A day does not go by when I don't listen to a track he composed. His music for the Star trek and rambo films was just superb!

  For all you Goldsmith fans out there, you should check out The Wind and The Lion if you can find it. In my humble opinion one of his top five scores. The industry lost one of the greats with his passing.

  I learned about this artist through "the mummy" movie soundtrack and also "first knight". They're all powerful soundtracks, but my favorite is "Imhotep". Great song to start the movie.

  Does anyone know where I can obtain the King Solomon's Mines soundtrack? It's a rare compilation that's a fitting reply to Indiana Jones.
