Wow, this past year has been crazy and great! I've worked so hard on my new album. Writing the new songs and working with all these great producers on this record has helped me find a new direction and sound for me that feels really good. I love working in the studio and I'd do it forever, except I love performing for my fans even more so I had to finish the album and turn it in. It has been a long road from the beginning and I am pretty psyched about how it turned out! The album will be released in April - just in time for my 21st birthday. We are going to have a lot to celebrate!

In the course of making this album, Ryan Tedder and I wrote a really great song together called "Bleeding Love." The song just didn't fit my new direction so we gave it to a new artist in the UK - Leona Lewis. She's Simon Cowell's newest find from the TV show X-Factor, which is like American Idol in the UK. She recorded 'Bleeding Love" and it's her first single. It was the #1 song in the UK for over 5 weeks and breaking all record sales of the past the year. The single and album will be released here next year. Check it out and let me know what you think.
