"i guess you could say that my love affair with the beatles began when i was 10 and my much older hipster cousin came home with the iconic green apple tatted on her shoulder. I think i loved them only because she thought they were cool but i didnt really understand them...i fell in love with the beatles music once again, on my own accord, after seeing the movie across the universe. The music, though not the original versions, seemed so real and meaningful to me. any music that can carry a whole motion picture with or with out dialogue must have deep seeded messages. i cherish this song more particularly because of its scene in the movie where jim sturgess (jude) stands on a roof top and basically spills his guts to woo Dana fuchs (lucy). you can feel the love with every melodic note."
