  She's one of the first Chinese artists I've ever heard. I started to listen her music at the end of 2004. I only have one of her albums and others are downloaded. She is like the Britney Spears of Taiwan. Unfortunately I didn't like her new English album so much because the songs are covers. Anyway, she can dance, sing and she is pretty. :)

  i love jolin so freakin much, i have like all her albums, posters, lyrics, and i attended some of her concerts too, i m from Singapore, i live in Jurong ,but now i live in the US

  I first heard JoLin when I first went to karaoke with my Taiwanese girlfriend in Australia. Because I couldnt understand a word she said, I didnt really pay much attention. it took a few times. But when I did pay attention, I was hooked, because her music videos were playing along with the singing (this was my first time at karaoke - I never knew they did that). Anyway, there we were, in Sydney, when suddenly out of the blue, my girlfriend says she wants to go to a JoLin concert. I thought "... More... I first heard JoLin when I first went to karaoke with my Taiwanese girlfriend in Australia. Because I couldnt understand a word she said, I didnt really pay much attention. it took a few times. But when I did pay attention, I was hooked, because her music videos were playing along with the singing (this was my first time at karaoke - I never knew they did that). Anyway, there we were, in Sydney, when suddenly out of the blue, my girlfriend says she wants to go to a JoLin concert. I thought "do I wanna go to a concert where I wont understand a single word?" But I did. Loved it. It still took time to grow on me, but I'd say that I was becoming a fan. And I'm almost certain I was the only non-Asian in attendance that night. How do I know? Because she spotted me in the front row, and a representative came up to me and asked if I would like to speak to her. So we went backstage and met JoLin!!!! She's even prettier in person then she is in video, or even on stage from the crowd. I couldnt speak to her much, but my girlfriend could, and she was starstruck. Awesome memories. Sadly the photos were lost. But still, out of all the artists I've heard who I cant understand the language of (and there are many), JoLin is waaayy ahead as my favourite. She's so fun! That was too long wasnt it?

  The first time I see Jolin was in Karaoke club. I was playin pool and she came on big screen (love,love,love) I melted right there. I couldn't finish my game till song was over. Been huge fan ever since.

  Actually, I think her singing is weak and her vocal arrangements, all the way up to 'Agent J' are still severely lacking in complexity. Her producers went a long way in 'Dancing Diva', but then took a huge step back for 'Agent J'. Big letdown. That said, I still can't get that damn "Bravo Lover" song out of my head. It's a curse!
