It all started at the turn of the century. Fellthru was giggin and people seemed to like our british punk ska feel, I was singing and writing and when it got to a quite stage in the band i realised i had to have the band there in order for me to sing my little lungs out. So i picked up a backboard of a guitar i founf in my attic and started to pretend to play. then i got a job and bought my first gitar this had not only the backboard but the neck, strings and all that other stuff. Suddenly i could play all the time and 5 years down the line i am still. My writings are inspired by traditional folk music, i grew up on this and love it. I obviously cant help to influenced by ska and punk and also reggae as they seem to share my living space 24/7. I write political songs mostly, i aint a fan of love songs too much, but im sure i will soon eat my words on that. I find the subjects of public space in cities interesting and also that icey hand of capitalism which seems to be clutching us all tight! other than that its just me mucking about on an a guitar. enjoyX
