I grew up playing saxophone, until I was a juniour in high school. I met the guitar player from Papa Roach, Jerry (his dad and my dad were co-workers) and he lent me his guitar for two weeks. I loved it, and I started writing songs from the first week I had it. I went to college with a scholarship to play saxophone, but was just burned out on it. I made a lot of progress on the guitar my Freshman year in college, but I flunked out of school. So, now I'm 25, still trying to get through a degree, and wanting to hear myself on the radio. It sounds stupid, but I love my songs. I love to play them, I love to hear them, and like anyone who is not a pure altruist, I love it when others love my songs.
