Joye B. Moore is spice coming from the Inspirational side of life! Setting a precedent with her style of “Urban Jazz Inspiration,” A lover of all genres and draws upon a wealth of influences from soul to jazz, gospel to funk, and growing up listening to R&B, Joye has formed a unique blend of Inspirational/ Urban-Jazz that is not duplicated and is translated by her spirit through song.
She is a songwriter and vocalist who co-writes her music! Joye explains, the primary mission /goal of her music is to plant a seed of self-love, self-worth and self-forgiveness. I want everyone to know that they are loved just the way they are right now. “My songs reflect my growing pains. Learning to love myself for who I am right now and realizing that the only limitations I have are the ones I impose upon myself.”
Joye has brought down the house from Churches; to Night Clubs; to Music Festivals! She has a "urban jazz” set that is sure to inspire and entertain, she has a ministry that is moving, un-invasive and a terrific stage presence and persona that leaves audiences asking… where can we see her again?, as she continues to set a new precedent for Inspirational Urban Jazz Music.
Joye received SIX (6) nominations for UGI Awards (Urban Gospel Industry Awards); ‘Urban Gospel Artist/Group of the Year”; “Best New Artist” & “Best New Female” (Urban Contemporary Gospel); “Album of the Year”, “Best New Artist” & “Best New Female” (Jazz) for her debut efforts!
Joye has also opened for some of the best: Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Ceasar, Angie Stone, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin and the Atlanta Jazz Festival to name a few!
CURRENTLY, Joye is ‘reaching out/accepting’ Jazz and Neo-Jazz tracks to ‘Collaborate- with’ for her up-coming Project!
