Hello!
Feet haven't touched the ground since coming back from my wonderful French adventure!
Here the summer has nearly ended.. not sure if it even started ?? but that just means we can all start to snuggle up in our warm coats and get excited for the Autumn! (yeh right...!)

A truly magical time was had by all, and I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to all who helped organise and put everything together and feed and water us!- you know who you are, and also to those of you who made my gigs so very special and came along every night to be in the audience! THANK YOU!
(I've already organised the next 3 tours in my mind....)

there are drinks offers on all night, less than £2 a pint, less than £5 a bottle of wine, and then a happy hour 11 till 12 with most drinks a pound!!!!
doors open 8 till 1, me and rob go onstage about 8.45 and then the music continues throughout the night.
Its all for FREE, so come and watch some ace live music by candlelight in derbys coolest venue/bar.

Just a quick reminder about a very special gig coming up this weekend -
As you know - I regularly used to play and organise a night called 'Girls with Guitars' (now no more...R.I.P) The main aim being - the coming together of many talented local and out of town female singer songwriters. One stage, one night - great music with an attentive audience.
Lots of magical, musical nights were had, but unfortunately since the loss of Five Lamps, Girls with Guitars sniff - was no more - sniff.For one night only, Bar One have brought it back to life, and are hosting 'Girls in the Garden' as a spin off - of the 'Gigs in the Garden' (see attached flyers)

Feb 01, 04:05 AMCave Cave Cave Cave Cave...24th Jan 09 at The Logger heads, Nottingham.(Photo's taken by Alice Kell)When Jay told me I'd be singing in a cave, I thought he may have meant a dark, candle lit room with a bar and a small amp and microphone in the corner, lovingly named the cave...After wandering the streets of Nottingham and down the lamplit lane that led to Cliff Road, we found a wonderful Art-filled place, in one corner, a candle-lit room with a bar and small PA and mic in the corner... and in the other...the Caves:
The acoustics in the cave were magical!!!
After a few rounds of guiness, the cave filled to the brim with a chorus of campfire favourites: Stand by me, Wonderwall and the newly revised 'cave cave cave cave blues!'
Aye.... T'was a magical night that will never be forgotton, and thank you to those who joined the merriment!I really hope to venture back that way very soon!(thanks to Alice Kell for the photo's) -
