Well, it’s been a crazy week. I hopped a plane and headed to Austin for SxSw
on Tuesday. I feel like it’s been a lifetime since we left San Francisco. We
saw so much amazing music this week I can’t begin to tell you who was my
favorite…. I played a show in 90 degree heat and thought I was going to die
of heat exhaustion… I met my teenage crush Mathew McConaughey (he really is
that good looking, but a lot smaller than I expected, they are all midgets
in Hollywood :)… And then I got the news that I have two songs that are
going to be played on “The Real World Brooklyn” on MTV! I almost peed my
pants!!!!
So here is the premise….Ryan, the beloved war veteran in the house who has
already served in Iraq, just received news that he may be sent back again.
My song “America” will be in this very dramatic scene, as all of his friends
struggle with the thought of having to let him go. The show airs at 10 pm
Eastern and Pacific time. Please check your local listings for further

another blog before next week, (which is the season finale) to let you know
where my other song “I Miss You” will be placed.
