  Summer solstice '08, gap of dunloe in killarney, copius amounts of rain, pint swigging poncho wearers... a bonfire and kila to entertain... fabulous...and it was my birthday!!! AMAZING present!!!:) Cork next weekend!!!

  I'll never forget that fateful day in DCU when we walked into the canteen to see this crusty-looking bunch of musicians playing trad like I'd never heard it before. I was hooked and I've seen them at least once nearly every year since (that was back in 95, I think). Fantastic live band, a great back catalogue - just brilliant.

  I don't know too much about music, but this sound makes my mind leave and fade away into space. I dare to say Kila's one of the most beautiful things I could have known along my life.
