“‘Simplicity is Complexity’; this is the catch phrase incorporated by the urban cultured band known as KDB. Driven by purpose and friendship these musicians see no boundaries to their music and therefore create it accordingly. This three year old group has forcefully maintained their philosophy of totally original music and in their short time together they have performed at major events including The nationally televised Awesome on the Hill, Barbados Reggae Splash and Reggae on the Hill. The group has performed alongside artistes such as Luciano, Junior Tucker, Papa San, Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest, Barrington Levy, Morgan Heritage and Junior Kelly just to name a few. An energetic yet controlled stage performance has brought this group a following that has propelled them to start recording their first album while still fulfilling their ever increasing concert schedule. Along with this they were also among the nominees for the inaugural Barbados Music Awards. Gritty vocals, hardcore lyrics, tightly knit music and a genre fusion has brought them attention from local and overseas producers.
