Kat Tingey began playing guitar in high school and hasn't looked back since. She is a Utah native, and graduated with BA in Music Guitar Performance from Utah State University.
Her smooth, sultry and very versatile voice along with amazing skills on the guitar and inspired lyrics has had her compared to such artists as KT Tunstall, Norah Jones and Sarah McLachlan.
Kat just finished recording her sophomore album and released it in January 2009. It can be found on itunes by searching Kat Tingey.
