More...This Wednesday we revived Jazzmoss and it went down very well in the London Jazz festival. My last full on gig in London until Febuary; there is a little possibilty we may reawaken Jazzmoss yet in January next year.
In the meantime, I have been in the studio all week with Trenton and Free Radical laying down some cuts for their new Hip Hop and Roots album. Look out for it next year; first single "Mandela is out around Febuary 2010. The music is sounding phat and tight.
This is my last major project in the UK for a few months coz I am going to work on a film in Uganda. To catch some more live tunes come to Oliver's Jazz bar in Greenwich at 8:30pm I will be performing 3 songs of a cross between classical and jazz with British ace trumpeter Henry Lowther and the wonderful Claude Deppa from South Africa. English poet Louisa Le Marchand of Jazzmoss will be reciting some poetry over the tunes. The gig will be short but very tasty. There are other interesting performances on the night.
If you are in Uganda, come down to Theatre La Bonita on 23rd Dec for the Kampala premier of the feature film "Fishing: the Little Stone". I am planning to have a spot of music to liven the event so there may be some surprises in store.
