In August of 2005, after having lived in New York City for 5 years, Keegan DeWitt closed up shop, recorded an album in 2 weeks and travelled the world. Now he has 11 songs to make you believe. After having played in such bands as ROMAN CANDLE (Chapel Hill, NC) and CROSSTIDE (Portland, OR) Keegan had departed for New York City, where he studied acting and film-making while recording and producing his own full length "Songs From The Byrd Chorus". After 5 years, and plenty of amazing memories, Keegan decided to leave everything behind, and go to Chapel Hill to record his finest work with Roman Candle backing him up. Within 2 weeks he layed down 11 songs and had planned a trip throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji & Hong Kong. While out of the country, Roman Candle & Chris Stamey (of the DB's and Whiskeytown-producing fame) fleshed out and produced his newest full self-titled full length. After arriving back in the country, he appeared with Cailtin Cary & Thad Cockrell on their "Begonias" tour, with V2's Roman Candle throughout the south and can be seen regularly pulling large crowds in New York City and Brooklyn.
