  I used to watch her child (now with her kids probably) while she was on stage at Birdland and played on the same stage jamming with friends. Shakahachi is not easy to mix in with her soulful funk of the chapman stick but she threw down with her husband on shakahachi and always talked about "Lil House on the Prairie" ....I remember her well. We used to all be like family in those days of ol clubs and concerts. Life is shifted.

  Total Relaxation music...when I want to totally unwind, I put in some Keiko...then I get my ZEN back....

  Oh, I love Keiko...I used to hear her on the Portland jazz station, but then it went away. :( Wish I could play like her....

  I saw her in concert in Palm Desert, she is so amazing! Come back again!!!! Loved it! :0 )
