There is something to be said about the R&B quartet, Keingz Ransom "KR", especially when their harmonious sound adds meaning to their profound moniker. Their distinct harmony, vocal ability, and "throwback R&B" verbalizations, recalls the era of musical muses: Silk, H-Town, Jodeci, Boyz II Men and Jagged Edge. Keingz Ransom comprised of Rodney "Tinman" Miller ; Cedric "Fontaine" Hughes ; Kewaithian "Kew" Freeman ; and Broderick "Brick" Smith ; came together in 2001 in Dallas, Texas. Rodney and Broderick came up with the group's name. "It's indicative of the value of our music," says Rodney. The essence of soulful groove beats captures the raw emotions of love, lust, broken hearts and hope. Their vocal skills are showcased when they sing a cappella, highlighting their sultry-rich range. Keeping writing duties and production within the group, Keingz Ransom will always stand lyrics and beats above others breaking into the industry. Simply put, Keingz Ransom proves to be the "king" of the artistic process.
