So you can go and download the song for free!
'Rocking Horse' is the title track from Kelli's 'Rocking Horse album' and this acoustic version of the song which Kelli recorded with her new band is included on The Savages download single. Also included on the single is an original cover of 'Willows Song' from the haunting 'Wicker Man' soundtrack.

Sep 06 2008, 12:52 AMAutumn LeavesI can hardly believe that Autumn is upon us! It seems not so long ago that I was making the Rocking Horse album with Max Richter in Scotland.
Such a lot has happened since then and I am really happy and grateful for all the help and kindness we have been shown whilst completing the album.
Thanks to everyone who has been visiting my new kelliali.com website, it's going well and we hope to have the shop up an running by late Autumn.
Derek Birkett (One Little Indian Records) called me recently and said that he would like to put the album out, so our long relationship of working together continues! This is great news for us, it means that we can concentrate on doing what we love most and hopefully begin the long process of planning some tours so that after years of absence from the live stage, I will finally be able to make these songs real for people and take the show on the road.
We have had the good fortune to find some excellent musicians to work with and are rehearsing the live set right now.
Jane South, is a really amazing flautist, who has been playing in many varied settings and works on a lot of projects including writing her own songs, She has the most magical skill and is a very inspired and wonderful lady, I am so excited to be working with her!
Peter Shoulder is an acoustic guitarist who is also working on his own solo album. He is the most good natured and imaginative guitarist I have had the pleasure to work with and we are all really enjoying playing the songs and also working on new songs together.
We will be playing gigs from September in London and boy am I excited! It feels like a million years ago since I last played live and this music is so different from anything I have performed in the past.
We will be playing the songs from the Rocking Horse album, it would be great to see you at the gigs for some support and if you do show up, please come and say hi after the show.
Our first gig will be on Monday 15th September at Source Below supporting Jess Morgan. Jess is a great song writer and I'm very much looking forward to seeing her perform.
