  I will never forget seeing him open for Jonatha Brooke in San Francisco in a very small club. It was so good. He is definitely missed. His lyrics stand up today- probably even more than before.

  It is true... Those who know Kevin's work-its motivating emotional force.... even those he perhaps should have snubbed, if a southern white girl gone "pop" rocker.... I merely sense Kevin intensely some days... The songs which are truly timeless masterpieces- and I can say that honestly- These gems are illuminated from every facet by the same genius, love, angst, and hope... the reflections of a soul I am blessed to feel from time to time. Oh, the Tears of Audrey!.... Love-Light... More... It is true...   Kevin Gilbert was an absolutely extraordinary talent. If you don't know much about him, read up on him. You will know what an amazing talent is now missing. He didn't die as well as he could have lived.

  Toy Matinee is one of my favorite albums. When I was like 5 I used to dance and jump on my couch to "Turn it on Salvidor" brings back some great memories.
