These endeavors started long ago as seed-idea in the mindchild of Eric and Motor. They were cephalapods. They buGGed and liked each other, as cephalapods often do. They liked and hated each other's music as many do. They grew on each other. Eric put a Vulcan mind meld on Motor and Motor saw the error of his Musak-al ways. It came to pass that Eric and Motor played the strumalectricon. They played together a few times. It wasn't very good. Then it came to pass that Tristan dug the slam-bangs. She bought a generic slam bang from a 12 year old boy for 75 bucks. Playing on this single slam bang was like trying to taste fine wine through a straw from McDonald's. She bought a better set of slam bangs from the slam bang god Slingerland. When three said cephalopods played, they liked it very much. Then came a crazy mosquito named Mister_Super who said he liked punk strumalectricon, but could also play bassomatic if need be. He was very good at bassomatic and had crazy hair of lamb's wool. The four liked the sound very much. The name of the band came when Motor was listening to a U2 song called 'Last Night on Earth'. He thought it had a nice ring to it, but Last Day on Earth was a better visual. They went with this name. A problem arose with the first singer, and he went bye bye. Then the band lost Mister_Super. Mister_Super was a mosquito, and he lusted to put his proboscis in FLESH. He thought Brazil might be a nice place to do this. It turns out he was a very wise mosquito. He flew down there and found the local women very tasty. He is the only American mosquito who also surfs. He likes it there. Before Mister_Super left though, he recorded the album Static with the band. Because the first singer had personal problems, it was decided that it would be best if Tristan sang. Too many cephalapods spoil the picnic, if you know what I mean. Tristan wrote the words and melodies a couple weeks before recording the album. BobchuckX of HalfAss Records recorded the album. He also played the bassomatic, which was a great stroke of luck for the band since they were losing Mister_Super. The melodicity and dexteration of BobchuckX were quite complementary to what was going on. He learned the songs in approximately 5 minutes, just in time for the next show. Since then, things have been going quite well. And that is the first chapter to the story.
