  i was just having a conversation with my sweety while we are right now listening to mp3s of Laurie Anderson about how unique she is and that she is a pioneer in sound of sorts, and we could not really come up with any similar artists. I thought of Patti Smith only in that they are both very poetic in lyric. And I thought of Kate Bush, because of her high pitched vocal styling. But really it seems there is no one who has quite the funky, explosion of eclectic & classical melding of sound, r...   "If only I could remember these dreams; I know they're trying to tell me....something... Saw Laurie in Boulder last April (08) the day she married Lou. And wouldn't you know it, I'd just had hand surgery THAT day and a friend took me out for sushi and sake right before the concert and DAMNMIT I just wasn't quite IN myself.
